
The Board of Directors has removed Catch and Release from Lake Carobeth and Dresser Lake for 2025.
The Catch and Release signs have been removed by the Maintenance Department.
All people fishing must follow all rules and regulations of the Pa Fish and Boat Commission.
They may only take fish in their season, they may only take fish the proper sizes, and they must have the proper fishing license.
Fish & Boat Commission Waterways Conservation Officers have the jurisdiction to enter the community and to fine people fishing outside of the regulations. They may also fine boaters not in the regulations.
Please keep in mind that tourists from out of state, must have an out of state fishing license.
They can purchase a license online at Fish and Boat Commission | Fish and Boat Commission | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Or they can go to a sporting goods retailer like Walmart or Dicks Sporting Goods.

Kayakers using Lake Carobeth or Dresser Lake do not need to have a state boat launch permit. However if they go to Tobyhanna State Park, or Beltzville, a launch permit will be required.
